Challenge – To improve corporate efficiencies through a change in culture, reaching critical mass of resources in order to sustain results. The main obstacle to improve company efficiency relates to cultural aspects, such as power structure, decisions making, transparency of information, interpersonal communications, personal interactions, level of self confidence among collaborators, etc. Such conditions may have been exacerbated by increased control and some wear and tear in the chain of command. Analysis/Diagnosis – To understand the systemic structuring of the company, following the Model of Structural Analysis (according to Addendum 1). Data collection through surveys, focused interviews, monitoring of workplace, and detailed processing of information. Behavioral analysis of Management and Leaderships for insights into the company’s culture. Review of existing procedures and control points, and worker interaction with them. Strategic Approach of the Project: To commit the protagonists with the change process. • To turn leadership and management into change agents • To seek the participation and active role from workers • To define the Management Information System Plan • Training workshops using group dynamics techniques, guest speeches, AudioVisual Presentations, and interactive games • Workplace training Results and Benefits – To adjust behavior and actions according to the new system, getting rid of old practices. To promote more effective communication among different segments and levels of leadership and management, so to improve the decision making process. |
